Prefer the short version? How to play in three steps.

Your turn
Draw. Play three. Keep seven.
The Monopoly Deal–style turn rhythm, unchanged: start by drawing, spend up to three plays, then trim your hand.
- 01
Draw
Draw 2 cards at the start of your turn (5 if your hand is empty).
- 02
Play
Make up to 3 plays: bank money, lay a property, or fire an action.
- 03
Hand limit
End the turn with at most 7 cards. Discard extras into the discard pile.
Three kinds of play
Bank, build, or strike.

Bank it
Slide a money card or most action cards into your bank. Banked Mynt pays rent and dues.

Lay property
Build district sets. Twin Wilds flip either colour; Spectrum Wilds fit any unfinished set.

Play an action
Charge rent, grab a card, swap a deal, or steal a full set. Rivals may answer with Veto.
Signature cards
Steal, cancel, surge.
Action cards spend one play. Browse every face on the cards page.

Hostile Takeover
Take a complete set from another player. The nuclear option.

Quick Grab
Steal one property that is not locked in a full set.

Veto
Cancel an action played against you. A Veto can be Vetoed back.

Windfall
Draw 2 more cards - spending one of your three plays.
Paying rent and dues
Pay from your bank, then with properties that are not in a full set. Storefront and Skyscraper boost rent on complete upgradable districts. When the draw pile runs out, the discard pile is shuffled back in.
Winning the table
Three full sets and 15M in the bank wins. Rooms can change the goal. Hostile Takeover, Quick Grab, and Swap Meet swing sets fast - keep a Veto ready.

Monopoly Deal rules FAQ
- What are the Monopoly Deal rules in Deal Empire?
- Same core loop as Monopoly Deal–style play: draw, make up to three plays, bank money, build property sets, charge rent, and race to the win goal. Deal Empire uses its own card names (Mynt, districts, Felix).
- How do you win?
- Be first to finish the room’s win goal - usually enough full property sets plus banked Mynt at the same time.
- How do payments work?
- Pay from your bank first, then with properties from incomplete sets. Spectrum Wilds have no money value. If you have nothing left, you owe nothing.
- Can I play Monopoly Deal rules online free?
- Yes. Deal Empire is free in the browser: tutorial, bots, private friend rooms, and online tables - no download.
